Visited the LH Horton Gallery at the San Joaquin Delta Community College in Stockton. Jan Marlese did an excellent job putting together a variety of mediums together. The show Contemporary Filipino Artists will be on exhibit until November 10.

Celebrated by cooking my favorite mom dish and discovered Seafood City! Kari Kari, (peanut butter oxtail stew) and lechon (deep fried pork). Complete with bagoong. Not as good as mom’s, but I’ll take it. Food is so associated to my memory of her. I miss her (sigh).
Had a conversation with the students at Mercy High, Burlingame yesterday. Thank you again Caroline, love that we re-connect at different iterations of my (art) career! (um – I actually wouldn’t identify as a painter or actress 🙂
