As Blockestein succinctly noted..we (Megan and I) are G.O.G. After the first of the year – we loaded up Lucky (Megan’s trusted vehicle) and took off to Idaho. First stop – Winnemucca…then finally Hailey Idaho where the SVCA put us up at the Roberta McKercher’s and Billie Buhler’s house (aka Ezra Pound’s birthhouse).
megan and I decided to dress up and do a fun photo shoot while her HOME installation was still in tact…good times.
of course I was interested in seeing the old homestead..and guess what?! It was all GONE!here are some pictures to prove it…and to think I had a painting party there!(click here for those photos) – and click here to see the house…awww..just makes me sad!
for our birthdays San Pancho gave us a great gift…an opportunity to create a mural for Dia de los Muertos! From this little project spawned what Megan and I coined as “kwik” – our collaborative name (think Nestle Quick – Chocolate and Strawberry – you’ll see in the pictures).
