kudos to Christina Ree for spearheading (along with Angela) this project. Seriously a year in the making. I remember having discussion with Chris around projections and mobile projections – as the Luggage Store Projection Series was being formulated. They’ve been able to access funds from the James Irvine Foundation to really get this project off the ground properly. The equipment in tact (had a lengthy conversation with Brice concerning this, generators, sound, screen, etc.) and a friggin VAN!! This way of delivering cinema makes perfect sense in San Diego since it is a very auto-centric city. Look out for a MOB DBC action soon! get more info here
