the connection with the Filipino Community here has offered a wonderful sense of “home” have to confess…they have so many parties….how can one not have a sense of community. last year I was inspired to get a tattoo…so…this year for my birthday…guess what I got myself? fernando at face tattoo was the one who did my “X” tattoo in 2005 here in Buenos Aires and I adore him. It was fun communicating a design which will be with me for the rest of my life…he didn’t speak much english and my spanish sucks. nevertheless – I am SOOOOO pleased with it!!! my dear pal chris is the one responsible for the majority of these photos. (by the way – the word is “vicissitude”)
