Although I’m not too excited about the surveilling nature of my phone (what was that joke if you want anything just say it out loud?) anyways I collected my Spotify playlist and how I listened to music in 2020 and they have this crazy ass algorithm that shares everything it’s so odd to read the statistics, but here you go if you’re curious
It’s been amazing going back to my archives realizing where I tapered off – the big paralysis year of 2016, interesting. I’m coming across what used to be super simple have become so simple, it’s a bit complex. I used to design websites for a living (short lived) and used to be a whiz…but now it’s a bit different, so much so, I’m keeping my blog on WP and my professional art website on SquareSpace (I think – still testing). Opening up the hood and detangling the backend has been exciting..I’ve created a subdomain (cosas.elizabarrios.com) for my blog (hate SS’s back end) in preparation for transferring my DNS to SS, will keep my email with google.
In retrospect, my exhibition was a tad thin, but the academic papers and interviews seemed to ramp up – as a matter of fact we’re cover girls to Gina Velasco’s new book
Prepare for the big return. Received the final house payoff as well as composed and combined the family’s input for mom and dad’s ledger…it’s going to look beautiful and mom will be happy!

finally…after missing deliveries (because our building was not properly labeled) I took it upon myself to fix this. No more ‘ buzzer doesn’t work, I’m in the blue building on Pink and Pearl with a ‘38’ on it’
