Pink Triangle 2nd year

This year was a breeze. I actually noticed the order of which who goes to the base and who stays close to the top. It’s quite a steep hike! We floated somewhere between the middle and the top! Someone said, ‘does the triangle look more slender this year?’ I’ll blame it on ozempic 😉

Pink Triangle

Started off the weekend volunteering with the Pink Triangle project. After enjoying this spectacular sight for 28 years, we finally had the opportunity to be part of such an important action for our community. Having been in it for awhile, I lose fact that we have a whole new set of generations and allies that may not be privy to this symbol of hatred. Appreciate how the community continues to persevere (and have a fun time).

Side note: still working out the atrophied social muscle – it’s no joke, finding myself tuckered and exhausted

Week 3 – Montalvo

Finally watched all the family footage I’ve been storing up for the past three years. Throughout the years I’ve attempted to watch snippets, but end up stopping because I couldn’t endure my parents’ absence. I walked away with a full range of feelings. From being super sad with the realization of being an adult orphan, relieved having documenting to empty at the loss of my family. this time around I was able to watch each sequence inspired by Max Richter. This time around I was able to watch over eight hours of video straight and felt like they visited me and in someways gave me the creative energy to begin putting together music videos, something that highly influenced me in the 80’s.
