FYI….I don’t even know why I used this plug in. It sort of eats up your photos…..totally lost in the nether nether land of buried folders.
For some reason it has been. Realized all my galleries buckled under the “update” pressure so all my travel photos are safely stored on my server – but with no way of showing the images..(friggin’ plug-ins). Will have to update this when I have a big chunk of time. In the meantime, just got back from San Diego – a lovely visit with family and old friends – including my all time inspiration – Pasha Turley (photography teacher way back when). Getting ready for my residency at Djerassi (month of Feb) what else….web working and designing away like a geekie girl and thoroughly enjoying it.
Have to say my visit to San Diego was inspiring in more ways than one…first Pasha (as I previously mentioned) – but second my little grand-neice Kamea (as well as her mom, my neice, Leanne). They’re my most favorite ever…seriously – being a mom is tough, I mean really tough and my neice is super patient, smart and attentive to this little one. Anyways going off track. Kamea (along with my pal Pete) has inspired a line of baby adobo onsies! Here’s a preview…still refining the actual product – but don’t you think it’d be cool to associate babies according to their ethnic foods! It started when I sent my pal Pete this image…..and his response was….”baby adobo”! Then it went from there. (I’ve got a few ideas like, “baby chutney; baby matzo; baby kibbeh as well as baby balut, baby bibinka, baby lumpia)

Here are tons of pictures from Megan and I’s New Year’s Eve adventure. Spent it with Bekki, Erick and Chris. This humungo estate had 6 bedrooms, a vineyard, 3 different “sitting rooms”, a pool and well….you get the picture. Spent NYE playing a mean game of scrabble..but we had to drop that in order to eliminate that competitive spirit and got it all together 15 minutes before the clock struck midnight – jenga was our savior game. The next day Chris invited a bunch of his folks over for some food and festivities – let’s see who all came, Cecilia, Bernie, Yomi, William, Olivia, Lorraine, Linda, Margaret, Jo and a couple more gals who’s names escape me (forgive me). It was a most splendid way to bring in the New Year’s – check out the pictures for yourself.
