is a very wierd thing. the reason why I mention this is because I had one of those weird conversations with my good friend about parents, like how do you think you’d be when you get that phone call. anyways tonight that call was received. curious. all I can say is … life is fragile and she changes instantly..
as with everyone and their family…I’ve jumped on the “entrepreneurial” bandwagon…finally got my bidness website up and well..it’s everything I LOVE to do..imagine. yeah yeah yeah….we’ll see if this pays the bills, but i’m pretty damned excited! click the thumbnail and it’ll direct you to my ebx design tech solutions site..btw – there’s definitely a friends and family discount!!
so on another one of my insomniatic evenings I decided to peruse the iPhone app store to see what sort of stuff they had and I found this app called OFFENDER LOCATOR. It’s an app that shows you where registered sexual offenders live based on your GPS location (complete with address, picture, their offense and the date they were born) . It’s super creepy and actually makes me look at my neighborhood way differently. would love to walk around the nob hill/seacliff area to see if any live there…
slowly grounding after the birthday…uhem – month. today was the first non-day – which I spent cleaning (surprise surprise). having my sister here was super fun, super low key and amazingly healing. We did a gamut of things from supporting my dear friends the Winters at their Latona Garden, to a reading at the Bayanihan house, to getting a spiritual reading from Darla and then finally to going to Oregon for a few days to check out some property my sister was interested in. Luckily she didn’t find it appealing and chalked up the visit to sisterly bonding (which is a rarity).

after spending time in NYC I then made my way to San Diego (to celebrate my mother’s 76th bday)…then from there, drove up the coast back to San Francisco with my sister – and now we’ll make our way to Oregon (specifically Coos Bay). You’re probably wondering how i’m able to travel so much…and lately, I’ve been wondering how too. Well lets break it down, NYC was a present from my friends, San Diego was a one way ticket for the phenomenal price of $59, driving back – was my sister……and well the trip to Oregon is ALL my sister (i’m just accompanying her and playing “property owner” consultant). In some weird way this momentum or perhaps perpetuation of traveling hasn’t stopped. I’m currently writing a book for myself entitled, “Ms. Adventures – the awe’s of being at the right place, the right time and being able to travel.” Anyhow, just wanted to share my new favorite artist whom a really good friend totally turned me on to, his name is Bohyun Yoon. Can’t say how refreshing it was to encounter his work, it’s been awhile since visual art has moved me. by the way – no real pix from NYC, wanted the bday celebration super low key, which it was.
