took my very first bikeride to ft. point (the base of golden gate bridge) since the birth of max (6+ weeks ago). changed my handlebars while recuperating and now – she rides perfectly….yippee!!!

it’s not been quite a week since i’ve been released from the hospital and thus far i’ve had loads of mom’s yummy cooking, visits from my pals, watched a few movies, am on my feet, had a pedicure (go figure the first day out on a “long” walk), went to church AND played scrabble with my parents! excitement and smooth recovery ensues……….
of course the experience wouldn’t be complete without sharing the yummy food the hospital has to offer for recovering patients……it was ironic to be reading Omnivore’s Dilemma while eating the hospital food.
