a few weeks ago, during my short stint in SF, I was privileged to accompany my filmmaker pal (who’s from outta town) on location shoots around the city…here’s a picture she took…..I was excited cuz she let me touch her AG-DVX100 (thx for the photo hb).
the title of my new piece. the exhibition is at Micaela Gallery 333 Hayes (love her address)….you’ll see why i’ve been surrounded by the below image (my March 15th post). just created a jpg/eps/tif file so that I could get vinyl printed for the backdrop….22′ x 14′. lemme tell you – the rendering sucked – thank god I had 4G of RAM! the actual file turned out to be about 1.5G – for all you graphic peeps you know…that’s a huge ass file. imagine cleaning it up?! okay…sorry all you ludites. anyhew…if you don’t know me yet…you need to bring a mirror to your screen to read it. this image only consists of an 1/8th of the project. as soon as I get proper info on the opening and closing – i’ll post it. (dunno why it looks yellowish here…hmmmmmmm)
okay….one of my goals when I decided to take my time off to travel back in July was to work on my website. And well…I haven’t had a chance to until NOW. Who wouldda thought i’d want to do other things in the Philippines, Argentina and Mexico. Anyhew here’s a pictoor of my work page.
