Puerto Vallarta for the day…

Glades and Marco invited me along for the ride. Marco was going to sell his jewelry at shop there…(by the way you should really check out his work here). As I was reading up on P.V. turns out … P.V. was a bay used for refuge for the Manila Galleon. Anyways…they mentioned that the International Film Festival was going on…so after checking out Marco’s work – we went to go see “Love in the Time of Cholera” (which was terrible!). But before doing so we had a chance to cruise around the city…and found these murals interesting….

translation: “remember where you came from”

then at 3am came home to a new friend…(it’s different not living alone)

dia de la playa…

after an unprecedented house call from TelMex (internet company) on this lovely Sunday…went to the beach. had family day…was alot of fun (all pictures taken by Glades)

the walk to the beach…

heading towards the ‘jungle’ walk

actually – on the left – there’s a golf course

a nice 15min walk

which puts me at costa azul – the fancy part of town

and voila – the beach!

Glades’ birthday…

after an evening spent in Yelapa and me babysitting the boys – Glades’ and Marco were gracious enough to cook and have movie night on Tahiti. The thing is – it was Glades’ birthday..totally fortunate to have them in my life..of course the menu consisted of pork adobo. And for the birthday cake we had yummy chocolate cake made by Melissa!
