Siem Reap – highlights

Here are some Siem Reap highlights. I was fortunate enough to catch a benefit for Friends without a Border – an NGO geared at helping children in Cambodia with the medical attention necessary to survive. It was a festive gala where art was auctioned and doctors gave lectures on a) how to detect diseases such as malaria and dengue fever and b) how to prevent such diseases. I was also introduced to new fruits such as the palm and lotus fruit.
