the BARN

before I headed out to Djerassi back in mid-Jan, Paz and I decided we wanted to do something in the Barn. Since we’ve been doing the MPU project for awhile, a projection seemed appropriate. It was pretty much free form. I was working on my Sankhara / Volition piece and Paz was working with the natural elements on the land. The evening culminated into a sight, sound and tastebud extravaganza. We invited Mauro who played a John Cage piece. We ended up projecting our pieces and interestingly enough – it worked out very well with the architecture of the Barn. Afterward we all celebrated with a feast – thanks to Paz, Mauro, Brian, Sarah, Derek, Nehara, Frank and Cage! The menu consisted of lamb, pasta with chantrelles and chicken sausage, bulgogi, 2 salads, brocolli, bread, butter, wine, champagne, lacies and pie! And for our nightcap, we were privileged to listen to Mauro and Sarah playing some impromptu tango! A wonderful celebration..of course with our beloved Diesel in mind…
