seems like 2013 will be starting off with a couple of shows. first, I’ll be part of the show “We Carry Each Other” curated by Katya Min. This show will be super exciting. Not only will I be working with Alejandro Acosta (who has been gold in helping me out with the geekie parts) and adq (who’s been indispensable throughout the process – in more ways than one) but I get a chance to work with Midori again. You’ll see her masterful rope work within the projection pieces I’m orchestrating for the RBI Windows as well as a special performance she’ll be doing on April 18th (details forthcoming). The opening for this show will be Friday Feb 1.

Second. The Brides are makin’ their comeback baby. We’ve been invited to be part of a show titled, “New Stories from the Edges of Asia: This/That” at the San Jose Museum, curated by Monica Ramirez-Montagut. We’ll be making our return as an iteration of our fabulous selves – think: Mananangaal, Women Executives from the 80’s and Working Girl – NOT TO BE MISSED. If you’re around for San Jose Museum’s lunchtime lectures – swing by March 6th to see Baby and Neneng present our work process. The opening for this show will be Feb. 21st!
